TO DO IT BETTER

Future Talent Partners

was created in 2012 out of the belief that advertising recruitment had been bereft of service and innovation for too long and that inflated commissions weren’t helping. All of which felt more than a little ironic considering our proximity to brilliant creative people and companies.

The time was right for change and Future Talent Partners was born with one thing in mind; do it better.

I started my working career as an actress, with many appearances in TV and film. Acting alongside Jim Henson’s dinosaurs, appearing on the big screen to being a Children’s TV Presenter on ITV with Disney characters. At the age of 24 I decided it was time to leave behind the puppets and cartoon characters. My time in front of the camera prepared me for a career in Advertising.

For 8 years I had the privilege of working at some well respected agencies in London; Ogilvy & Mather, Grey London, Euro RSCG (now Havas) and latterly at CHI&Partners, where I worked across a portfolio of high profile, award-winning brands.

I moved into recruitment in 2007 where I worked at The Talent Business for 5 years, before setting up Future Talent Partners in September 2012, to follow my aspiration of being an independent and specialist recruiter for Client Service roles.

Now with 8 great years of recruitment experience and 8 years agency experience I have grown an extensive and diverse network of talent and agency relationships, many who are now good friends and remain loyal clients.

……..It’s short for Meredith. Indeed, a rather unusual name for a 6ft 2” chap from Watford. These are the gifts you get from having such wonderfully eccentric parents.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have worked in the Advertising industry for 14 years and to have had the privilege of working at some fantastic agencies, such as Grey, Havas, Brothers&Sisters, Dare and WCRS.

I’ve also had the pleasure, over the years, of managing an eclectic mix of accounts. From cutting my teeth on FMCG brands such as Fairy, Twix, and Dolmio, through the chaos and excitement of working on The Sun, to following my passion for sport with brands such as Sky Sports, Adidas, Betfair and, latterly, the Capital One sponsorship of the League cup.

Not only did these accounts afford me exposure to a range of different businesses and industries, but they also gave me some unforgettable experiences. However, what I have loved most about my time in the industry is the opportunity to have worked with some of the most amazingly talented, bright and genuinely brilliant people. From grads that I have interviewed to the people who have run the agencies I’ve worked for, the calibre within our industry never fails to amaze me. It is for this reason, that I absolutely jumped at the chance when Pippa invited me on board.
